About the comparison tool
How does the comparison tool work?
Pick two fragrances and Dupejoy lines them up on the things that matter: the notes they share, the notes unique to each, their prices, and the affordable dupe for each. It's built to answer 'how close are these two, and which should I actually buy?'
What does note overlap mean?
It's the share of notes the two fragrances have in common, out of every note across both. High overlap means they're built on a lot of the same materials and are worth smelling side by side; it isn't a promise they smell identical, since proportion and quality change how the same notes read.
Can I compare a perfume with its dupe?
Each fragrance in the comparison shows its own closest dupe, the note-match score, and how much you save, so you can see the original-versus-dupe gap for both scents at once. To weigh two originals against each other, just search one into each side.
Do you compare longevity and projection?
Only where we have sourced data. Performance varies by skin, batch and how much you apply, so rather than print a number we can't stand behind, the tool compares what's verifiable: notes, price, savings and note-match. A dupe shares key notes; it is never billed as identical.
